- The European Accessibility Act is Directive (EU) 2019/882, adopted 17 April 2019; it applies to services provided to consumers after 28 June 2025.
- Micro-enterprises (fewer than 10 staff and turnover or balance sheet not above €2,000,000) are exempt for services. Inclusive Forge does not market to them.
- Service providers must publish accessibility information (Article 13(2), Annex V): a description of the service in accessible formats and how the requirements are met.
- Technical standard: EN 301 549 V3.2.1, which includes WCAG 2.1 AA. Inclusive Forge works to EN 301 549 / WCAG 2.1 AA as the recognised technical standard; it does not claim conformance to a harmonised EAA standard.
- Penalties: Germany (BFSG § 37) up to €100,000 for serious violations, up to €10,000 for others. France: a 5th-class contravention under the Code de la consommation; its amounts are known from secondary sources only, so none are quoted here. Spain (Ley 11/2023, articles 29 and 30): the articles have not been read, so no amounts are quoted.
- Inclusive Forge documents the work; it does not certify, and it does not promise compliance. This is not legal advice.
